• Follow these essential steps to ensure the best results and minimize discomfort:

    1. Grow Out Your Hair - Optimal Length: 1/8" - 1/4" or a grain of rice.

    2. Exfoliate - Use a gentle scrub or dry brush 24-48 hours before appointment.

    3. Hydrate - Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment.

    4. Wear Loose, Comfortable Clothing - Opt for loose, breathable fabrics.

    AVOID

-Moisturizing - Do not apply body lotion or oil to treatment area on the day of your appointment. It will interfere with the sugar paste.

-Sun Exposure & Tanning - Stay out of direct sunlight and avoid tanning beds 48 hours before your appointment.

-Caffeine & Alcohol - These can increase discomfort during treatment.

Note: People who are premenstrual or pregnant experience more skin sensitivity. For this, you may consider taking an ibuprofen 30-60 minutes before your appointment.

  • To keep your results lasting longer and your skin feeling it’s best, proper aftercare is key.

    FIRST 24-48 HOURS

    1. Avoid Touching the Area – Keep your hands off to prevent bacteria transfer.

    2. Wear Loose Clothing – Tight clothing can cause friction and irritation.

    3. Avoid Heat & Sweat – Stay away from hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts to prevent irritation.

    4. Skip Perfumed Products – Avoid scented lotions, deodorants, and harsh skincare products.

    5. No Exfoliation Yet – Give your skin time to heal before using scrubs or exfoliants.

    ONGOING CARE

    1. Gently Exfoliate – Start exfoliating 2–3 times a week to prevent ingrown hairs.

    2. Hydrate & Moisturize Daily – Drink water & use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated.

    3. Stay Sun-Safe – Apply SPF if exposed to the sun.

Frequently asked questions.

  • Body Sugaring is a freehand method of hair removal suited for all skin types. Made from three simple ingredients, sugar, lemon, and water, it's 100% natural and is perfect for sensitive skin. Unlike waxing, sugar paste is applied at room temperature and removes only hair and dead skin, reducing irritation, ingrowns, and discomfort. It also follows hair's natural growth, leading to smoother, longer-lasting results.

  • Body sugaring is generally considered less painful than traditional waxing, but the level of discomfort varies from person to person. Since the sugar paste adheres only to dead skin cells and hair (not live skin), it is gentler on the skin compared to waxing. Many clients report that sugaring feels more like a quick pinch rather than a harsh pull, and the discomfort lessens over time with regular treatments.

  • You can! If you’re open/able to using a menstrual cup or tampon during your service, the practitioner can sugar your Brazilian as usual. Just be mindful of the fact that you may experience more sensitivity at this time. Taking an aspirin or ibuprofen 30 minutes prior to your appointment is recommended for those kinds of days <3

  • Sugaring is generally considered safe during pregnancy, but it's essential to consult with your healthcare provider before scheduling any hair removal treatments. Some factors that may influence whether it's suitable for you during this time would be skin sensitivity, circulation changes and positioning.
